Filler Masterbatch

It is an inorganic chemical based masterbatch used in plastic industries to modify various properties of the base plastic or plastic polymers.

Fillers are important additives, inexpensive, inert, inorganic materials that simply add bulk to the plastics. The most common minerals used as fillers include calcium carbonate, talc, silica, clay, mica, kaolin, calcium sulfate, glass fibers, glass beads, alumina trihydrate and wollastonite.

Reinforcing Agent

PTMB reinforcing agents are based on long and short glass fiber  that improves processing of PP, PC, Nylon and other polymers to enhance various property.

Impact Modifiers

PTMB have developed a special masterbatch that enhances the impact properties of plastic containers. It also allows the use of higher amounts of mineral fillers in Injection, Blow, Film & Raffia application without compromising on impact properties and tenacity. Nucleating agents are chemical substances that are added in plastics to form nuclei growth of crystals in the polymer melt. Nucleating agents promote the crystallization of semi-crystalline polymers.

Antisink

Electret Masterbatch

Electret masterbatch is used to improve the melt blown non-woven fabric to store static electricity, so that it can absorb dust, bacteria, viruses, aerosols and other harmful substances in the positively charged air, thereby improving the filtration efficiency of the melt blown non-woven fabric.

Metal Deactivator

Metals can accelerate thermal oxidation of polyolefins and related plastics such as PE, PP, PVC & EVA which leads to degradation due to copper, iron or pigments containing this substance.

It is used  to form an inactive complex with the catalytically active metal ion. Thus, complexation of the metal with the chelating agent prevents metals from associating with hydro-peroxides, i.e., it decreases its ability to produce radicals from hydroperoxides by oxidation or reduction.
